It is exciting to hear that guests have such a memorable time here. We are so grateful it has been a place for others to make memories. It truly is our happy place. Therefore, the names of our cabins come from that happiness: Happy Camper, Happy Ever After and Happy Trails. What a blessing this has been for us to bless others with a cabin containing the comforts of home in the beauty of nature.

HARTstring Cabins was started out of love for family time, the peacefulness of nature and the memories of tradition. It was born from our family’s yearly tradition of visiting the gorgeous Beavers Bend to rent a cabin and welcome in the new year. Each year our love grew for the beauty of this area. Year after year, we found ourselves saying, “We should build a cabin for us to getaway and others to make memories and quality time.” From there, an idea grew. Our conversation became, “Let’s quit talking about it and do it – tomorrow!” We jumped in with both feet and went the next day to find the perfect lot. Our goal was to find a secluded area for each cabin, consisting of two lots – one to build on and one to remain wooded for privacy and wildlife appreciation. With this plan, we have nearly completed three cabins!

Our mission is to create time away from the busyness of life to escape and relax with family and friends. HARTstrings Cabins is the perfect spot for quality family time, reunions, bachelorette parties, fishing trips or get togethers. There’s something for everyone. Our vision was to create a place to make each guest feel like they’re entering their home away from home. Every detail was carefully considered from the inside out – comfortable beds, movies; books; and games for adults and children, TVs and DVD players in each room, robes for your convenience and snacks upon your arrival. Outside we have something for all ages, from wooden play sets to horseshoes, along with bird, deer and raccoon feeders on the property, bringing abundant wildlife to the cabins. Our purpose is to offer something we find joy in, and go on to share that with others.
